NINEJP Visits PSI *Connect Caravan / Coordination Meeting

On August 6, 2025, as part of its "Connect Caravan" initiative, NINEJP visited the Hiroshima University Kasumi Campus and held a coordination meeting with the Peace & Science Innovation Ecosystem (PSI).

The NINEJP secretariat, led by Chairman Professor Toshiya Watanabe (Institute of Science Tokyo), discussed the vitalization of the academic startup ecosystem with PSI members, including Vice President Hidetoshi Tahara (Hiroshima University), and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

The event brought together many key stakeholders, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Hakuhodo, UTokyo IPC, The Japan Research Institute, and the Institute for Future Engineering.
