NINEJP Visits MASP *Connect Caravan / Coordination Meeting

On August 22, 2025, as part of its "Connect Caravan" initiative, NINEJP visited the Tohoku University Aobayama Campus and held a coordination meeting with the MICHINOKU ACADEMIA STARTUP PLATFORM (MASP).

The NINEJP secretariat, led by Chairman Professor Kenji Watabe (Institute of Science Tokyo), discussed the vitalization of the academic startup ecosystem with MASP members, including Vice President Hiroo Yugami (Tohoku University), and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

The event brought together many key stakeholders, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Hakuhodo, UTokyo IPC, The Japan Research Institute, and the Institute for Future Engineering.
