NINEJP Visits GTIE*Connect Caravan / Coordination Meeting

On January 13, 2026, as part of the "Connect Caravan" initiative, NINEJP held a coordination meeting with the Greater Tokyo Innovation Ecosystem (GTIE).

The NINEJP secretariat, led by chairman Professor Watanabe (Institute of Science Tokyo), and IJIE, including program representative Tsujimoto (Institute of Science Tokyo), along with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), discussed revitalizing the academic startup ecosystem. The meeting also saw participation from numerous stakeholders, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Hakuhodo, The University of Tokyo IPC, Japan Research Institute, and The Institute for Future Engineering.
