Event Report: The 24th Annual Meeting of J-SIP in Kanazawa

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the 24th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Intellectual Production (J-SIP) Kanazawa was held at ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa.

The venue was packed with excitement, and some attendees even had to stand.
Representatives from six platforms nationwide took the stage for a session titled "Regional Startup Creation in the Startup Ecosystem Co-Creation Program," which focused on solving regional and social issues, such as disaster recovery, and initiatives for creating global research-originated startups.

On stage, NINEJP and each platform were introduced.
Specific initiatives tailored to the unique challenges of each area were presented in detail.
Furthermore, the representatives strongly confirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration across regions and fields. They will work together to foster global research-originated startups that can compete on the world stage.

The highly meaningful symposium showcased the powerful drive of innovation when regions and academia come together as one.

Please look forward to NINEJP's future activities.
